This Tuesday, the Council of Ministers will invoke article 8 of the Organic Statute of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to ask it to investigate the crimes that X, Meta and TikTok could be committing due to the creation and dissemination of child pornography through artificial intelligence.
As announced by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, in a message on X, formerly Twitter, these platforms “are attacking the mental health, dignity and rights of our sons and daughters.”
In his new attack against technology companies, Sánchez assures that “the State cannot allow it. The impunity of the giants must end.”
