Movistar, from the Telefónica company, has suffered a drop in its fixed and mobile services that it offers to SMEs and that affects thousands of users nationwide, as knowledgeable sources informed EFE this Tuesday.

The number of people affected by the failure of a Movistar platform rises to around 100,000 SMEs throughout Spain, who have seen themselves left without connectivity (voice and data), as reported by Ep.

Movistar Spain has explained in its ‘X’ account that The technicians have detected an incident, which affects the services of Movistar Empresasand which is already being worked on to solve it.

“There is an incident in the Movistar Empresas service. The technicians are already working to restore the service as soon as possible,” they emphasize from Movistar Spain.

The problem began early in the morning, as reflected by the Downdetector incident portal, which shows a peak of almost 3,000 incidents at nine in the morning. As for the affected territories, provinces such as Albacete, Cuenca or Soria would have been affected. In fact, this problem has left local services such as Radio Taxi Albacete offline.

However, areas of Euskadi, Andalusia and Madrid were also registering incidents.
