How artificial intelligence transforms the profession will be the central theme of the Convention of the Association of Relationships

Under the theme “IA + ARPR = Evolution and Future”, the Association of Relationships of Puerto Rico (ARPR) will hold its Annual Convention 2025 on October 1 and 2.

The meeting, which coincides with the 55th anniversary of the Association, will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming the public relations profession and will provide professionals with the necessary tools to lead this new erathey detailed in a press release.

The Convention will be presented in two modalities: on October 1 in virtual format and on October 2 in person at the Vivo Beach Club in Isla Verde.

There, experts and leaders of the Puerto Rico industry, the United States and Peru who will share knowledge, experiences and perspectives on how artificial intelligence is transforming public relations and how it can be applied in a strategic, ethical and creative way will be met.

“This convention will be a key space to reflect on the changes that artificial intelligence is already generating in the practice of public relations And, in turn, a meeting point to strengthen the competitions of our colleagues. Educational program designed for the future

The Educational Program of the Convention will address a variety of essential issues to integrate AI effectively and responsible in the daily practice of public relations. Among the issues that will be explored are: “Artificial intelligence applied to public relations”: an introduction to the main generative AI platforms (Chatgpt, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity) with a practical approach for communicators; “AI in your day to day”: sessions on how to integrate AI applications to optimize strategic communication, media monitoring and customer relationship; “The AI ​​and the legal implications”: a checking sheet to identify the legal challenges of AI, such as confidentiality, copyright and unexpected risks and “the governance of AI”: discussions on how the ethical and transparent use of the AI ​​strengthens the practice of communications. “

It also includes important issues such as “Del Free Press to the Smart Press”: an analysis of how AI does not replace strategy and creativity, but also amplifies them to generate greater impact; “The transformation of communications with AI”: a panel of experts that will explore the impact of AI on the profession, their challenges, opportunities and applications; and “living the evolution of AI”: an interactive session on how public relations leaders can guide their organizations through the evolution of AI, ensuring trust and transparency.

The Convention will offer the opportunity to complete up to 10 hours continuing education loans. The event will culminate with the Excel Awards ceremony, which recognizes excellence in the Public Relations profession in Puerto Rico.
