Video game and comics week: Shin Megami Tensei V and Star Wars – High Republic: The Sword, other protagonists of the cultural field

Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked! – Launch June 11, 2024

This week an interesting collection of classics is released that includes 'Rocket Knight Adventures', 'Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2' and 'Sparkster', three video games from the 90s that marked the consoles of the 16-bit generation on Super Nintendo and Mega Drive. The latest installment of the series, 'Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance', invites us to enjoy the original story in its entirety, but seasoned with a totally new plot line. On a plastic level it has been completely updated with visual effects adapted to modern consoles. In this line areas, demons and music have been renovated to reinforce a combat system that also promises improvements such as more fluidity and variety of possibilities.

This RPG set in a war between angels and demons is divided into two different plot lines. The first, the “Canon of Creation” explores the original story told in 'Shin Megami Tensei V', developing the eternal conflict between angels and demons, in which the protagonist fights for the destiny of the world. The second option, which they have called the “Vengeance Canon,” is an entirely new route that promises “a dramatic epic of reckoning.”

Monster Hunter Stories – Release June 14, 2024

Almost 20 years after its first title, the popular Capcom franchise releases a remastered version of 'Monster Hunter Stories' this week. The 2016 original is known for taking the world of 'Monster Hunter' in new directions. Here you don't hunt monsters, you raise them. With this in mind, the first installment of the parallel series returns Fully folded with extra features as a new Museum mode where you can listen to music and a space to see conceptual illustrations. The new version also brings another series of improvements to the game, such as updated graphics, more efficient movements and greater performance in relation to the product that was originally released.
