This is the thinner (and powerful) vacuum: the Pencilvac

Regarding vacuum cleaners, Dyson has been worked on a reputation linked to technological innovation, wireless devices and surprising suction power, not to mention a differential design. Now, to this universe, Pencilvac has arrived, the thinnest and most powerful wireless vacuum.

Despite being so thin, just 38 mm in his mango, Dyson managed to incorporate numerous outstanding features. Pencilvac includes redesigned cleaning heads, the fastest and fastest engine to date, and a new filtration system. It is also the first wireless vacuum cleaner that connects to the Mydyson applicationwhich allows access to additional settings and alerts on the phone. Currently, it is available in Japan and will soon arrive in Spain.

To demonstrate how thin the Pencilvac is, we will have to break it up in measures. The mango measures 38 mm, while the cleaning head is flattened up to 95 mm. Therefore, it is designed to access small spaces and under low furniture. To achieve this, Dyson eliminated the cyclonic technology (the house brand motor), which means that there is no longer an engine that occupies so much place in the upper part of the vacuum.

In other models, the cyclones are located on the garbage tank, where they use centrifugal force to separate dust and waste, taking them to the tank, while allowing clean air to flow through motors and filters. The new technology not only replaces the need for vacuum bags and traditional filters, but also helps to capture the most microscopic dust in two stages.

The system channels the air and dust towards a small tube, which maintains high speed, which cleans the mesh as dirt separates that enters the tank, so that only fine particles pass to the filter

As the dust separates in the tank, it automatically compresses within it to maximize its capacity. Technically, the deposit has a volume of 0.08 l, but Dyson states that he can contain five more times thanks to air compression technology. This redesigned deposit includes a new expulsion system that empties dirt and cleans the deposit simultaneously. In addition, it is easily removable, so you can clean it when you need it.

But what really allows such a thin profile is the new engine. Pencilvac is equipped with a new Hyperdymium 104K engine, inspired by the company’s personal care products. With a diameter of 28 mm, it is now the smallest and most fast engine offered by the company.

Has a centrifuged speed of up to 140,000 revolutions per minute and a suction power of 55 watts of air (AW). This means that its engine revolves slightly faster than that of the 5 detect gene, the Dyson -end wireless vacuum cleaner, which has a speed of 135,000 rpm.

To this we must add that the Pencilvac has four conical brushes called Fluffycones. With two brushes on each side, the front cone turns in one direction, while the rear brush is in the opposite. The four brushes also protrude to the sides; this way, Clean in all directions with each pass and, at the same time, prevents pet or fluffy hair. Its thinnest and long design makes it easier to handle it with one hand and reach higher places.

In addition, it emits green lasers from the front and rear of the head of the vacuum to illuminate the dust, which facilitates the detection of invisible particles to the naked eye. Having no dust deposit at the top, you feel less heavy and difficult to handle, which will undoubtedly make a difference in longer cleaning sessions. The Pencilvac has no trigger, which makes it much more comfortable to use. Instead, Dyson integrated an LCD screen into the handle that shows the cleaning and operating time.

Perhaps the least flattering appearance is your battery: It lasts a maximum of 30 minutes and we still do not know how fast it is loaded. The good thing is that your support is no longer to the wall, but to the ground, which makes it easier to locate it almost anywhere. We will have to try it to know how you work in full task.
