Nintendo has released new materials for ‘The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’, which take us on a journey through the landscapes of Hyrule, its people and allows us to take a look at new images of the game in action. So get ready for an adventure that will take you to explore the different landscapes of the kingdomfrom the central plateau to the most remote places and from the arid Gerudo Desert to the top of the Eldin volcano.
Save the Kingdom
The inhabitants of Hyrule are slowly fading away due to strange gaps that have suddenly appeared and Princess Zelda is on a mission to save the kingdom. But Zelda is not alone. With the help of her companion Tri, she can use the staff to create “replicas” – duplicates of objects she finds in her surroundings. Zelda will be able to recreate those replicas when she needs to.to solve puzzles and defeat enemies, or combine them to solve tricky situations in creative ways. You can even make replicas of monsters to help you in battles. As you carry out your quest to save the kingdom, you’ll encounter different inhabitants of Hyrule immersed in their own difficulties. Helping them solve them is part of the adventure, and thanks to the Travel Journal, you can keep track of all the missions you have going.
From one place to another
To move more quickly from one area to another, look for the teleportation pillarsscattered throughout the land. When you discover one, you can simply select it on the map to quickly return to that point. Zelda also has her trusty steed, which will help her travel quickly throughout Hyrule, leaping cleanly over small obstacles and even trampling weaker enemies.
Throughout Hyrule, you will encounter juice shops run by Deku merchants, where you can mix the ingredients you have collected in the form of delicious drinks. These juices will have different effects – for example, restoring your health – depending on the ingredients you have used. Zelda can also wear different clothes and accessories to enhance specific abilities or simply to modify her appearance.
Where creating replicas isn’t enough, Tri can help the princess with an ability called Link, which makes objects follow Zelda’s movements. This can be used to bring buried treasure to the surface, or to reposition troublesome enemies (you can use this on the replicas you’ve created, too). You can also use Reverse Link, which will allow Zelda to follow the movements of a creature or object. With these two abilities, you can discover hidden paths, or find different ways to overcome an obstacle or solve a puzzle – for example, by making a rock “follow” Zelda to open a hidden area, or by linking the princess to a flying creature so she can temporarily soar through the skies.
