The AEMET hopes for a “transitional” Saturday after a Friday full of unexpected storms

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) predicts a day of transition for this Saturday in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, after the intense storms recorded on Friday. The meteorological situation will be characterized by the entry of high clouds to the west and the probable formation of morning fog banks on the eastern slope, while the rest of the territory will experience predominantly clear skies.

Towards the end of the day, the approach of a atlantic front that will cover the skies of the northwest third of the peninsula.

This system will leave probable precipitation in Galicia and surrounding areasat the same time that abundant high cloudiness will extend from west to east across the rest of the country.

Thermal and wind forecasts for the day

In terms of temperatures, it is expected rising highs in the Cantabrian Sea and the coasts of Galicia, with slight ascents in inland mountain areas. On the contrary, the southeast quadrant of the peninsula will register a decrease in minimum temperatureswhile in the rest of the country the thermal values ​​will remain without significant changes.
