The weather this Wednesday offers two very different faces on the Iberian Peninsula. While 13 provinces in the northwest of the peninsula are under warning for rain, strong gusts of wind or rough seas, The Mediterranean area maintains clear skies and ttemperatures greater than 30 degrees.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the orange warning (significant risk) due to waves of between four and six meters on the coasts of A Coruña and Lugo. The rest of the warnings are yellow level (risk), especially for gusts of 70 to 90 km/h, depending on the areas, in places of A Coruña, Asturias, Burgos, Cantabria, La Rioja, León, Lugo, Ourense, Palencia, Pontevedra, Soria, Valladolid and Zamora.
In addition, A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense and Pontevedra are under warning due to heavy rainswhile waves of up to four meters are expected on the western coast of Asturias.

Towards the end of the day, the entry of a new front will generalize rains in the northwest third, with the possibility of storms in Galicia.
Almost summer temperatures
As for temperatures, they will rise in areas of the eastern Cantabrian Sea, the lower Ebro and northern Andalusia, where the summer atmosphere will continue. The warmest capitals of the day will be Murcia (31 ºC) and Alicante (30 ºC), while the mercury will drop noticeably in Lugo (18 ºC), Pontevedra and Segovia (20 ºC).
The wind will be the protagonist in many areas of the country, with very strong gusts in Galicia, Asturias, the Cantabrian Mountains and the north of the Iberian System, where it will blow from the southwest and west, intensifying throughout the day.
