Soccer player Vicente Iborra, injured in his foot and with a shovel in hand, travels more than 10 km to help those affected

It is time for solidarity and Sport is alien to us from the tragedy that is being experienced in Valencia. The captain of Levante, Vicente Iborra, went on foot with his family to one of the areas most affected by DANA and, with some shovels and pulling a shopping cart, he collaborated with the victims of the Valencia floods.

The footballer, Accompanied by his wife and three children, he crossed on foot one of the bridges that connects Valencia with Paiporta with the aim of helping the residents of this town, which is one of the most devastated by dana.

The captain of Levante, Although he is recovering from plantar fasciitis in his left foot that prevented him from playing his team’s last games in LaLiga Hypermotion, he was able to travel just over ten kilometers, between the return trip, to that area near the capital of Turia.

Iborra also collaborated in the Ciutat de València on Thursday morning in the distribution of food that numerous citizens deposited in the Levante countryside to send to those affected.

In addition to Iborra, and according to sources from the Valencian club, other non-sporting members of Levante traveled to Paiporta yesterday afternoon to distribute food and basic necessities in different vans.
