Sunday 28 July promises to be an exciting day for the Spanish team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with several disciplines handing out medals and making their debut in the competition. This will be another step for Spain to surpass the record of 22 medals won in Barcelona 92.
Judo
One of the disciplines that will award medals is judo. Ariane Toro, European bronze medallist in the -52kg category, leads the Spanish team with the aim of maintaining its good form and winning a medal. In addition, David García Torné will compete in the -66kg category, hoping to advance as far as possible in the tournament.
Skateboard
In skateboarding, the final of the women’s street category will be held. Natalia Muñoz and Daniela Terolthe latter classified due to a last-minute injury, will seek their qualification during the morning session.
Badminton
Carolina Marinone of the great figures of Spanish sport, will open her participation in the women’s badminton tournament, where she will seek to advance and get closer to a new Olympic medal.
Swimming
