Sanchez accuses the judges of “doing politics” with his family

The president of the Government and general secretary of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, has guaranteed Monday in a TVE interview that “there is no” illegal financing of his party Derived from the corrupt plot that camp its wide in the Ministry of Transportation and that, supposedly, led Santos Cerdán, the former number three socialist. That is the red line of its partners. Sanchez said the case affected him personally. And reiterated that it is now “the time of justice.”

The socialist leader defended the honesty and innocence of his brother, David Sánchez; of his wife, Begoña Gómez and of the State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz. The three are in the focus of the courts. But the president considers that they are victims of judges who have political interests, and those who accuse of “doing politics.” «There are judges who do not comply with the law. There is a problem of performance and instruction that two people are paying for the mere fact of being my relatives, ”he said.

The president also said that he will always be “with the judges and prosecutors who fight against corruption.” The truth is that the corruption scandals that have affected the socialists and cornered the Executive have contributed to the president’s media hermeticismthat in the last 365 days he has not granted interviews with national media. In fact, that of TVE, in January of this year, went to international media.

The president reiterated that he will present the budgets and said that if he does not approve them, he will continue in Moncloa with the current ones, 2023. Sánchez, who outlined in an act some ideas about the State Pact that he proposes to address the climatic emergency, the interview began charging against the PP for the management of fires in the autonomies that govern. And, therefore, he located Genoa to join the pact.

The president of the Government wants to take advantage of the consequences of the fires that have ravaged the country this August to return the public conversation to the field of ideological confrontation, although the socialist leader separated the ideology of the climatic crisis. And that is the reason why the Sanchez granted the interview on public television. In Moncloa they believe that the PP suffers in environmental debates precisely because of the Vox pressure.

This media offensive is the government’s attempt to leave the audios and judicial member loop in which it has been installed for more than a year. The truth is that the Executive has been without control of the media agenda. Since then, Sánchez’s communicative action has been based on covering the damage of the “Koldo case” that has ended up becoming the “Cerdán case.” Even international media have echoed the political weakness of the President of the Government.

In recent weeks, some have loaded hard against Sánchez. “The Economist” came to openly ask for its resignation, considering that its dependence on independence allies and the lack of transparency have weakened democratic trust. The “Financial Times” stressed that corruption scandals that splashed their surroundings seriously threaten their credibility and highlight their fragility.
