Naturgy Foundation will train 2,000 teachers in sustainable energy

Naturgy Foundation has started, within its professional training program for employability, the eighth edition of its courses aimed at professional training teachers,

These are technical courses specialized in energy and sustainability that aim to update the training curriculum and are recognized by the Education Ministry and certified by the Autonomous Communities with which Fundación Naturgy maintains collaboration agreements.

In this eighth edition, Naturgy Foundation offers six courses in virtual format to 2,000 FP teachers about “renewable gases: uses, technologies and benefits”, “Digitalization of electrical networks”, “Sustainability applied to the production system”, “Photovoltaic plates: installation and maintenance for self -consumption”, “Building and sustainable rehabilitation” and “Green and Digital Gas Networks”.

A new training campus

As a novelty in this edition, the Foundation offers free and free free access to its new “Naturgy Foundation Formative Campus”An innovative platform that centralizes all e-learning formations, developed in collaboration with the Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) University, allowing each user to build their own training itinerary autonomously, choosing the most aligned contents with their interests and needs.

In addition, teachers can propose these formations to their students, either as a resource to strengthen knowledge of subjects or as a practical part of the classroom teaching. Unlike other environments, the campus offers maximum flexibility, without schedules or mandatory tutoring, but with a progress control system that allows to evaluate acquired learning. At the end of each formation successfully, the user can automatically download their accrediting diploma.

The campus also includes a repository of publications and theoretical-practical didactic resources that complement courses and facilitate deepening knowledge specialized in energy and sustainability. Among these resources, it highlights access to the complete material of the sustainability module, mandatory in all FP cycles.

The general director of Fundación Naturgy, María Eugenia Coronado, has shown her satisfaction with the implementation of this new training campus, “which not only proves that the project is fully consolidated but also becomes a key tool in our mission of promoting professionalization and continuous training, reinforcing our commitment to contribute to the development of technical competences that responsible for the challenges of the energy transition.”
