Warner Bros. Games has officially confirmed the incorporation of a well-known DC villain to the roster of 'MultiVersus'. This means that the Joker will be available in the video game that will be re-released as part of its season 1. Thus, the fighting title with hints of 'Super Smash Bros.' is preparing to welcome another character from the DC Comics factory, along with Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
From comics to the digital arena
The most anticipated fighter of the free title will have the voice of the actor Mark Hamillknown for playing Luke Skywalker in 'Star Wars', but also in the video game series 'Batman: Arkham' and 'Batman: The Animated Series'. The DC supervillain is a character from the Mage class with a move set packed with Clown Prince tools, like an armed pogo stick, spring-loaded boxing gloves, and a rocket launcher. The trailer that has been used to complement the official information also presents the character variants “The Batman Who Laughs” and “Batman: The Dark Prince” for the Joker.
MultiVersus
After going through an extensive testing period, the video game will return, but it will do so with many important changes. One of the most obvious is the engine change, replaced by Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, a revamped netcode is promised that is designed to deliver a “world-class online experience”, a new PvE (Player vs. Environment) mode, more characters, new scenarios based on reinvented universes and environments, a cooperative mode online, improved graphics and more.

Player First Games places special emphasis on online cooperative gameplay, which is complemented by a roster of famous characters from Warner Bros. franchises, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and Black Adam (D.C.); Shaggy and Velma (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny, the Tasmanian Devil, aka Taz and Marvin the Martian (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Tom and Jerry (Tom and Jerry); Finn the human and Jake the dog (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); the Iron Giant (The Iron Giant); LeBron James (Space Jam: New Legends); Rick Sánchez and Morty Smith (Rick and Morty), Gizmo and Stripe (Gremlins) and an original creature called Perreno. It can be downloaded from May 28 for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
