Koldo changed “purple” tickets for the plot a month after the PSOE came to power

The full messages analyzed by the Civil Guard in the latest report incorporated into the Koldo case confirm that the plot changed high value bills through a link in Navarra. The complete WhatsApp conversations would prove that the “jokes” that Koldo and his wife alluded to in their conversations were 500 euro bills those they wanted to get rid of without leaving a trace. Furthermore, from one of these messages it appears that the operation occurred in July 2018, that is, a month after the PSOE came to power.

The annexes attached to the latest UCO report, to which LA RAZÓN has had access, confirm that Luis Martin San Miguel -the contact they had in Navarra- changed the cash they brought him from Madrid and that wanted to make a profit Therefore, when it comes to “big changes.” The report released last week put on the table the existence of this person, whom Koldo referred to as “brother Miren”, every time Koldo’s ex-wife, Patricia Úriz, went to visit him to bring “40 txistorras”.

The events took place at the end of March 2019, when Koldo instructed his then wife to take the cash to Luis. “Divide it. Suitcase bag coat and wallet“, he ordered him. From the messages it appears that they finally met in Navarra and that he brought him “30 papers.” The annex to the report, with the set of messages, would strengthen the investigators’ thesis that the code words were referring to the transfer of cash.

“I have to give you money”

Furthermore, it is confirmed that they turned to this businessman long before 2019; specifically, in July 2018. The date is relevant since the motion of censure that overthrew Mariano Rajoy’s Government took place a month before. In those early stages of the socialist Executive, with Ábalos having just arrived at the Ministry of Transport, there were already conversations with this businessman to exchange cash.

“Luis in the box you will not have a purple to give me and I’ll give you loose,” Koldo told him. San Miguel replied: “I’ll look at it for you.” “I already have everything. I have to give you money. Come to Etxalar,” Ábalos’ advisor insisted. It should be remembered that the UCO places the origin of this plot in 2014 in Navarra with the alleged rigging of public works that Koldo himself and the former Secretary of Organization of the PSOE Santos Cerdán would have controlled.

The complete discussion of the events that occurred in March 2019 also sheds more light on the evidence that investigators are handling. It begins with Koldo informing him that his wife – who had moved from Madrid with the “chistorras” – would go to see him. After the businessman gave his approval, Koldo replied telling him that when I went to Zaragoza I would come visit him.

“Money deliveries in the PSOE”

At one point, your interlocutor asks you “How can you make a big change” and thus be able to stay “with a few.” Although he does not specify anything else, the former Ábalos advisor understands what he is asking and answers that he “collect (sic) from everyone.” Nobody here wants them. Because we are what we are and it’s a bitch (sic). You want me to ask. And get something powerful,” he snapped and his interlocutor specified that his intention was to make a profit with this movement of money. Koldo responded that he was going to ask, showing that the efforts to get rid of the 500 euro bills depended on a third party.

In any case, these messages confirm the suspicions of Magistrate Leopoldo Puente, that they had unjustified income that came from third parties and that it would be “opaque” quantities that they tried to hide. Among these third parties would be the PSOE, since the UCO has verified that the party paid cash settlements of expenses, some of which were not justified in the documentary that the party provided to the high court.

In that sense, the annexes reveal more messages from Koldo García with the training employee who provided him with said envelopes, Celia Rodríguez, which show that Deliveries occurred especially during the years 2018 and 2019. During that time Rodríguez contacted Koldo to give him the corresponding payments to Ábalos, although he sent third parties on several occasions; specifically, his wife and brother, Joseba García.
