These are new text strings related to the function ‘Battery health’. One of them indicates that ‘this iPhone’s batteries work as expected’while another points out that ‘the health of this iPhone’s batteries has deteriorated considerably’. Another chain expressly mentions that one of the batteries could not be verified as an original Apple battery.
Apple is expected to present the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Ultra. Although various information suggests that Apple will increase the capacity in the entire next iPhone 18 Pro range, it is very unlikely that the dual battery design corresponds to either of the first two.
The iPhone Ultra should arrive with a book-style folding design, which would make a two-battery configuration much more viable. The well-known Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station previously stated that the device would use a dual-cell battery, with capacities of 1,921 and 2,962 mAhrespectively. Altogether, the iPhone Ultra could reach a total capacity of 4,883mAh.
