The Junta de Castilla y León advances in its objective of a digital transformation in waste management and, for this purpose, has published the Manifestation of interest (MDI) for the concession of Direct aids for local entities.
The main objective of this call is to facilitate the implementation of waste regulations through Technological projectsaligned with the plan to support the implementation of the waste regulations, at the same time promoting the Circular economy.
Projects can be presented in two specific lines:
- He Development of digital instruments to support local entities in the implementation of rates by waste generation. This line is aimed at provincial councils, consortiums and joints that wish to develop digital tools that allow the calculation of fair rates approved by local entities.
- Digitization in public facilities for collection and waste treatment. In this case, municipalities, councils, joints and consortiums of Castilla y León may participate that are holders of facilities such as clean points or transfer plants.
Eligible projects
Among the actions that may be funded are included Computer application development for the calculation of waste management costs, and the improvement of digitalization in waste collection and treatment facilities.
The deadline for presenting the manifestations of interest is until the May 30, 2025, while That the period of execution of the projects, of January 1, 2021 until May 31, 2026, has no possibility of extension.
