Yesterday, the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, asked to appear before the plenary session of Congress to report on the political situation following the latest judicial investigations related to the PSOE, an appearance that is expected to take place in the last week of June.
And while the scandals that surround the socialists judicially do not cease, in the circle closest to Pedro Sánchez, both in Moncloa and in the sectors most aligned with the president within the PSOE, the conviction persists that there is a political-judicial offensive promoted from conservative circles with the aim of dislodging the socialists from power.
On the table is the case of the “PSOE plumber” Leire Díez, the trial of David Sánchez, brother of the President of the Government, which will begin its second session today and the “Plus Ultra” plot that fully affects the former President of the Government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
