The State Meteorology Agency (AEMET) provides for this Monday a day marked by atmospheric instability, with locally strong showers and storms in several areas.
The day will be marked by the presence of a Dana to the southwest of the peninsulawhose trajectory “still generates uncertainty”, although the general circulation is expected to absorb.
According to the Aemet predictions, The most intense “showers and storms” will affect the Pyrenees in the morningwithout ruling rainfall in other points of the east. In the afternoon, instability will be extended to Aragon, Catalonia, northern of the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islandswhere storms could be “locally strong.”
Yellow alert areas
Some points of Teruel, in addition to the Pyrenees of Gerona and Lleida (Catalonia) and also the interior north of Castellón (Valencian Community) They are on yellow alert (risk for certain activities) due to rains between 15 and 20 liters per square meter in an hour, in addition to strong storms.
