WhatsApp has today presented a new way to add and manage Privately view contacts in the app from any device. Initially, it will be available with WhatsApp Web and Windows, and later it can be done from other linked devices. This update includes the ability to save a contact exclusively on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp is working on these features so that it is possible in the future. Manage and save contacts by usernames. This will add an extra level of privacy as there will be no need to share the phone number when sending messages.
For the messaging application, the most important thing about a message is the recipient. With this in mind they have simplified the way to privately add and manage contacts on WhatsApp, from any device you are using.
Until now, the only place where it was possible to add contacts was from the mobile device, either by typing a phone number or scanning a QR code. But this new WhatsApp configuration will allow you to add and manage contacts from WhatsApp Web and Windows, and in the future from other linked devices.
The new option will also allow you to save a contact exclusively on WhatsApp. These WhatsApp contacts are ideal when you share your phone with other people or if you want to separate personal and business contacts when managing more than one WhatsApp account on your phone. In fact, contacts saved here will be restored if you ever lose your phone or change devices.
These updates will also allow you to manage and save contacts by usernames. Usernames on WhatsApp will add an extra level of privacy as you won’t need to share your phone number when messaging someone.
